Meet the team

I graduated from the University of Strathclyde with an MEng in Structural & Architectural Engineering in 2014. This provided me with a good grounding in structural building design alongside an appreciation of the architectural process to allow a collaborative working process, as well as typical elements of civil engineering. Since then I worked for a large multidisciplinary engineering consultancy and then joined the team at Will Rudd in early 2019 as a Project Engineer.

Over the course of my time in the industry I have been extremely fortunate to work on a varied range of projects giving me strong experience in all the traditional construction materials and methods. These projects have also covered a range of sectors including residential, healthcare, education and industrial. A great deal of these have been conservation focused, which is a particular interest of mine, working on projects across the UK featuring the challenges and rewards of working with an existing listed structure.

During my time at Will Rudd I have been able to progress within the company and I am now a senior member leading a great team of engineers and technicians. I take an active role in overseeing the team towards a project delivery and ensuring that there are clear lines of communication between all members of the design team and wider project.
