I joined Will Rudd Davidson in 2022 as Lead Technician with the following aims:
• to deliver enhanced Building Information Modelling (BIM) capabilities
• train Engineering and Technical Staff in:
– the application of BIM methodologies
– the use of BIM modelling software packages
– the use of Common Data Environments (CDEs)
(including authoring training materials and documentation to facilitate / support the above)
• to deliver productivity gains through:
– use of software add-ins and extensions
– automation of labour-intensive drawing and administration processes
The remainder of my time is given over to BIM modelling as required to deliver project documentation.
I like to try and keep fit and healthy - I commute by bike to work every day and have, for the last 10 years, been a member of my local Tug of War team, competing at Highland Games throughout the Scottish Summer.
I enjoy music, playing and listening to, and I like learning new skills - I'm currently learning the Python coding language.
