We were commissioned to design the structural alterations for the conversion / fit out of this listed Victorian bank structure. However, it quickly became apparent that there were serious structural failings in the principle structure supporting the flats over. We therefore had to design some very challenging structural enhancements which restored the original integrity to the existing piers/columns, whilst being sympathetic to the original form.
