I graduated from University of Strathclyde in 2013 with an MEng in Structural and Architectural Engineering. The benefit of including architecture blended the philosophies together to avoid treating them as distinct paths. During my course time, I also volunteered, in Constructionarium and Tog Studio, both providing invaluable hands-on construction experience from the scenic Isle of Tiree to QUEH.
I started in the industry as an architectural assistant which I thoroughly enjoyed before joining a national engineering consultancy providing design across the U.K from commercial, residential, industrial, education and hospitals for new-builds, existing and structural modification of existing buildings. In my career, I have supported clients from Site Selection through to Construction completion in a variety of challenging locations including City of London, Central belt, Isle of Skye to Scottish Highlands. I particularly enjoy feasibility assessments identifying and resolving key site or project challenges at early stages through proactive stakeholder engagement and working alongside fellow architects and engineers.
I joined Will Rudd Davidson in 2021 as Senior Engineer and assist leading a team of professional engineers and technicians in the day to day project delivery. At Will Rudd Davidson, we promote learning continuously through presentations, forums and committees seeking to improve our project delivery and quality.
I’m lucky at Will Rudd Davidson to have a work/life balance enjoying time with my family adventuring the great outdoors and abroad. I also enjoy running, hobby craft and you might see me in the odd costume at Comic Con!
