I started life in Civil and Structural engineering as an Apprentice Technician in 2000 going on to complete a HNC in Civil engineering in 2004. Since then I have achieved EngTech with the ICE in 2012. I have gained experience on a wide range of construction projects throughout the UK and Sweden including fulfilling the role of BIM Coordinator and Information Manager on major building and infrastructure projects.
I have an eye for detail and prioritise team working, consistency and accuracy. Since joining Will Rudd in 2018 I have gained experience across on a variety of sectors including; commercial, industrial, hospitality and residential. I have progressed to Senior BIM Coordinator and Lead Technician in charge of CAD standards, BIM development, mentoring and guiding a team of Technicians. I take pride in the development of others and the continual improvement of our product through lessons learned and innovation.
Outside of work I enjoy many outdoor pursuits; running, Munro bagging and spending as much time in the Scottish Highlands as possible. I have played golf from an early age and competed at a high standard at junior level with a personal highlight of earning two Scotland caps, it has been steadily downhill since then! I also play the guitar from time to time and have been known to enjoy a beer or two with friends.
